This week has been Anti-bullying and E-safety week at Parklands.

On Tuesday, Years 4, 5 & 6 took part in anti-bullying workshops with James from Openview Education, They learnt about the importance of showing courage and standing up to bullies. They were given ideas of ways in which they can show confidence and stand up for themselves or others using confident body language and sentences of strength.

All the children watched online anti-bullying shows in their classrooms . In Years 1 – 4 the theme was using courage and kindness to make the school a better place. Year 5 &6’s theme considered how banter and a joke can become bullying.
