Creative Arts

At Parklands Primary School, we understand the importance of giving our children creative opportunities to shine and widen their horizons as much as we can. Working in the arts helps our children express themselves and develop creative problem-solving skills, which will stay with them for the rest of their lives. Teaching through the arts can help us present difficult concepts visually, making them more easy to understand. Art education connects students with their own culture as well as with the wider world. By engaging in art activities, children grow in their physical, social, cognitive, and emotional development. Children also practice imagination and experimentation as they invent new ways to create art. Below are some of the many celebrations, events and performances our children have taken part in as they got involved with the creative arts.
