Marking and Feedback Policy

At Parklands we believe all children have the right to receive a quality, well-rounded education that raises aspiration and focuses on high expectation. We seek to deliver a curriculum which inspires and challenges our children to become confident and competent in their own abilities and which enables them to move forward in life and learning.

We work closely with parents and carers to ensure our children receive the help and support they need to attain and make excellent progress, regardless of their starting point. We provide our children with opportunities to explore and develop their own ideas around the British Values and our own Parklands Values.

We offer a broad, balanced and adapted curriculum covering all areas of the National Curriculum and enhanced by additional art projects, educational and residential visits and sporting activities. Lunch time and after school clubs, led by staff, further enhance our curriculum offer to our children and we hold half termly class drop – ins to ensure our families have the opportunity to see what is on offer and can support us, where they are able to.

For further information regarding the curriculum, please contact school, call in to see your child’s class teacher or read our termly ‘Parent Curriculum Maps’ for each year group.

Alternatively, if you need more information about a particular area of the curriculum, feel free to contact the relevant Curriculum Lead, details of which you can find below.
