We are proud of every child who enters our door at Parklands. We can see the potential of every child and we encourage, encourage, and encourage. We praise loudly and grizzle softly. We are a 1.5 form entry school with Reception through to Year 6. School is organised in 3 phases – Early Years Foundation Stage (Reception); Key Stage 1 (Years 1 and 2) and Key Stage 2 (Years 3, 4, 5 and 6).

Admissions

We currently have 380 children on roll. Reception entry – most of our children come into our Reception from Parklands Children’s Centre. However, we do of course welcome children who are new to the area or who have been with child minders or private childcare providers. We have invested our Pupil Premium money to reduce our class sizes to around 25. 

This change has had a great effect upon the children’s attainment since it was implemented in 2015. Please ring or call into school if you would like your child to join our school. As we are a school of choice now, it may be that we have to put your child’s name on our waiting list.
