Winmarleigh hall is a stunning, old Victorian estate situated within 50 acres of woodlands that has been developed into a place where children can learn, laugh and grow as people. Sandwiched in between extreme winds, rain and storms, we were blessed with a week of bright blue skies and sunshine that beamed down on every happy face.
Our current year 6 group threw themselves into every activity with enthusiasm and excitement. They challenged themselves, conquered fears and smashed personal goals! Staff spoke highly of how well-mannered all the children were and the sound of supporting each other to achieve their best was something quite special.
Every pupil showed resilience as they attempted fear induced height activities like the climbing wall, the leap of faith and the high ropes, as well as persevering with adrenaline packed activities like the zip wire and the Giant Swing!
They worked collaboratively to conquer the sensory trail, survivor and problem solving and continued on an evening when they went out into the night sky and got involved in an intense game of Ambush!
It was a delight to see so many pupils give their all and get the best experience in a fantastic, fun packed week!
Well done year 6
