We are proud of our relationship with our in-house drama group Theatre in Education. As part of our PHSE curriculum and Mental Health issues we welcome them this week to do four shows about the ‘THE WITCH’S HOUSE.’ The Programme is a play and workshop programme that looks at issues including knife crime, hate crime and domestic violence. THE WITCH’S HOUSE tells the story of a 10 year old boy, his teenage sister and the old woman who is eventually driven out of the estate where they live.
The programme looks at issues including knife crime, hate crime and domestic violence. Like all our work the programme will develop critical thinking and emotional literacy and will enable children to talk safely together about difficult issues they might be facing.
The workshop that followed this thought-provoking session really enhanced the learning and delivered a key message.
